RESERVE YOUR SHARE

At present all our horses are fully syndicated but it is now possible to reserve a share in our next two-year-old syndicate, the horse for which will be puchased from the DBS St Leger Yearling Sales in August.

Last year those who reserved a place in our DBS Yearling syndicate took ownership of a filly by Sleeping Indian, who went to be named Shoshoni Wind.

She is proving a most exciting filly, running well on her debut before thrashing her field at Newcastle by five lengths (below).

 

Shoshoni Wind will step up to Listed company on her next start and is typical of the affordable quality on offer at the DBS St Leger Yearling Sale.

Over the years Kevin has proven a dab hand with his two-year-olds, not only training stacks of winners but also regularly making an impact in the top two-year-old races with the likes of Middle Park winner Amadeus Wolf and Racing Post Trophy winner Palace Episode providing Group 1 wins.

Neither of those horses were expensive acquisitions and other horses to have won at either Group or Listed level for Kevin include Group 2 winner Balthazaars Gift (12,000 euros), Group 3 winner Madame Trop Vite (24,000gns), Listed winner Senor Mirasol (20,000gns), Group 2 winner Wi Dud (25,000gns) and Group 3 and Group 2 winner Our Jonathan (25,000gns).

The record of these horses is firm evidence good horses can be bought without breaking the bank and our two-year-olds for this year, Shoshoni Wind (£15,000) and Waking Warrior (£7,000), both wide margin winners of their maidens, demonstrate the point further.

By purchasing young horses in this sort of bracket we are giving our owners the chance to have a young horse trained by a top trainer without spending a fortune.

A twelfth share in our DBS Syndicate will cost £3,000 or less. This figure is the maximum cost of a twelfth share and, like last year, there is a very good chance the cost of a share will be significantly less.

We've enjoyed incredible success from the DBS St Leger Yearling Sale with every purchase going on to win or place for their owners. Some of these horses are pictured below.
