4-3-3 system sees Amy just ahead

The ultra-busy summer racing schedule inevitably puts strains on resources with jockeys flying round Britain trying to make rides.

Thankfully Kevin's system of employing stable jockey Phillip Makin and apprentices Amy Ryan and Julie Burke means we've almost never without a stable jockey for the Hambleton runners - and the system is working well.

This year's winners have been well spread out through the riding team with Amy Ryan, pictured above, leading the way on four winners and Julie and Phil, both pictured below, hot on her heels with three winners each.

It will be intriuging to see who comes out on top on in the inter-stable challenge. In the meantime, Hambleton's owners can sit back and relax, safe in the knowledge that however busy the summer programme gets, they will have a stable jockey to call on.
