There is nothing quite like a summer holiday. Bright blue skies and sandy beaches are what most of us would think of but for Shoshoni Wind and Waking Warrior their two week break will be all about peace and quiet and green, green grass.
The pair of talented two-year-olds, who are both being targeted at the £300,000 DBS Premier Yearling Sales race at York's Ebor meeting, are preparing for that big race target down at Newmarket's National Stud, where they are enjoying peace, tranquility and the fantastic facilities that the National Stud offers.

Waking Warrior, pictured above working on the Hambleton gallops, and Shoshoni Wind have both already clocked up five starts this year and the brief break from action will help freshen them up for the big race targets that lie ahead beyond York.
Word from Newmarket suggests the pair have settled in very well as they enjoy a break from the demands of their usual training regime.
Shoshoni Wind, pictured below, and her travelling companion will be returning to Hambleton ahead of the owners' Summer barbeque on the 15th August, which of course is on the eve of that all important Ebor meeting at York.
