The DBS Premier Yearling Sales is probably the best source of quality bloodstock on a realistic budget there is.
The list of quality graduates is ever growing with La Collina becoming the latest Group 1 winner from the Premier sale when taking the Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday.
The likes of top-class performers Canford Cliffs, Dutch Art, Kingsgate Native, Paco Boy, Sole Power and Wootton Bassett have all been sold for relatively low-key amounts at this sale, which has also been very kind to our owners over the years.

The catalogue once again boasts incredible strength in depth and work has already started on this year’s crop as we prepare to buy the horse for this year’s DBS Premier Yearlings syndicate.
With the syndicate over half full, plans are well advanced and we’re very much looking forward to analysing this year’s horses with Kevin.
After the Royal Ascot success of Bapak Chinta Kevin has now trained one or more Listed or Group winning two-year-olds for each of the last seven years, the majority of which were purchased within our budget - a quite stunning achievement.
There is no doubt this sale will once again offer some future Group class performers at very affordable prices. Given that and Kevin’s fine record with his two-year-olds it’s clear we’ll have more than a sporting chance of finding another quality DBS graduate for our owners to enjoy.
With little over three weeks to the sale, the anticipation is building!
