Lightning's St Leger winning pictures

Lightning Cloud's owners have enjoyed an incredible year and last week's win at Doncaster's St Leger meeting was a magical day.

Facing his toughest task to date, their fast-improving grey travelled smoothly throughout against a quality field before taking up the running under Phil Makin.

He drifted over to the far rail in the final furlong before showing his customary game attitude to see off the competition and land a famous victory.
