The perfect place to relax

Everyone needs a holiday and the Cliff Stud is pretty much as good as it gets for a racehorse.

The historic stud, ran from Henry Cecil’s Warren Place, is managed by the astute Guy Stephenson and has been playing host to quality racehorses for over a hundred years.

We’re very lucky to have access to facility as the stud’s ‘no rooms available’ sign is always needed during the autumn, when the demand for quality turn out facilities is at its highest.

Fortunately for us, Kevin’s relationship with the Stud means all the Hambleton horses get to have their breaks from training in the peaceful surroundings.

Two horses currently benefiting from the relaxing paddocks are Lightning Cloud and Shoshoni Wind, who have both enjoyed excellent years on the track.

The pair, pictured below, should be raring to go again for their owners after they have completed their vacations at the Cliff.
