Success can't be guaranteed. But it finds Hambleton Racing and Kevin Ryan over and over again. Kevin trains all the horses at Hambleton and has chalked up a century of winners in each of the last five seasons, while acquiring a reputation for breathing new life into horses from other trainers.

Success hasn't gone to Kevin's head, though. On your visits to the gallops, you'll find him a friendly and approachable man with an appetite for hard work and attention to detail. It's an approach that explains why he trains so many winners and why so many horses fulfil their potential for him.

Hambleton’s racing record is a proud one. Since our first year, over 50% of our total runners have won or placed. That means that, statistically, you're odds-on to end up in the winners' enclosure every time you go racing.

Our approach to the sales is a thorough one, gaining notable success with cheaply bought two-year-olds such as Waking Warrior and Shoshoni Wind. We've also scored well with bargains from the horses-in-training sales as well, with four-time winner Safebreaker, a purchase for just 2,600gns, a prime example.
