A perfect debut

The horses continue in great form with our latest winner Mehmento posting a perfect debut performance for his owners yesterday, winning by over nine lengths!

The son of Mehmas has been expertly handled by Archie Watson since joining us from the breeze-ups for just £14,000 in July last year.

Archie has taken his time with the son of Mehmas and the results were there for all to see at Southwell as the imposing colt showed good early speed to gain a prominent position under Hollie Doyle.

Approaching the home turn Hollie asked Mehmento to work and the response was immediate, the three-year-old soon putting daylight between himself and his toiling rivals.

With Hollie continuing to urge him on, Mehmento was over nine lengths clear at the line to post a hugely impressive and exciting debut.

As closer inspection of his winning photo reveals, all this was achieved without Mehmento being entirely focused on the task at hand!

Yesterday’s impressive winner is yet another horse we’re proud to have bought for great value on behalf of our owners.

We’ve always maintained seriously good horses can be purchased without breaking the bank and Mehmento is another example of the quality that is available at the sales.

His horse racing syndicate are now excitedly looking forward to Mehmento’s next outing after a perfect debut performance.
