Aaddeey’s perfect start

There were some terrific scenes in the winners enclosure at Ripon yesterday as Aaddeey made the perfect start in the Hambleton silks, winning a valuable handicap in great style.

Last year’s 35,000gns October horses in training recruit was saddled with top weight but despite conceding weight all round Aaddeey travelled notably well, before kicking clear to win decisively under Hollie Doyle.

To win such a good race off a high rating was a fine effort with Timeform awarding him a rating of 110 for his success.

That level of form is good enough to be a big player in Listed and Group races which suggests Aaddeey and his owners clearly have some great days ahead to look forward to.

Before that however, his horse racing syndicate are looking forward to Royal Ascot next as Archie has highlighted a target there he’d like to aim the talented son of New Approach towards.

Aaddeey is our latest miracle horse secured from the in-training sales, producing Group class form after being bought cheaply by our buying team.

Glen Shiel (118), Outbox (115) and Tempus (118) are previous examples of horses that have thrived in big races after joining us, winning Group races for their delighted horse racing syndicates.

With a Timeform rating of 110 Aaddeey has certainly earned his chance to tackle some lofty company too, starting with that date at Royal Ascot.

It’s great to see his owners enjoying success with such a talented horse. With yesterday’s win a career best effort for Aaddeey, there could well be more to come from this regally bred horse.

Huge credit for Aaddeey’s perfect start has to go to trainer Archie Watson who is once again producing the sort of alchemy few others can dream of.

As a result, Aaddeey’s owners are now looking forward to Royal Ascot just that little bit more!
