Kevin Ryan’s record with his two-year-olds is quite spectacular – Kevin has saddled Group or Listed juvenile winners in 17 of the last 18 years, enjoying huge success.
Many of Kevin’s very best winners joined him from the breeze-up sales with horses such as two-time Group 1 winner The Grey Gatsby fellow Group 1 winner Astaire further advertising Kevin’s shrewdness with his breeze-up recruits.
Our record from the breeze-ups with Kevin is incredible – an amazing 16 of our last 20 recruits have won, while the other four all placed for their owners! It’s a record we’re very proud of.
Those numbers include Stakes performers and a winner at Royal Ascot, not to mention countless other winners that our owners have enjoyed.

Kevin will once again be putting in the hard yards this year to ensure he remains ahead of the game. For the last 15 years or so, his team have invested significant time visiting vendors ahead of the sales.
The connections Kevin has built up over the years are a notable factor in our success together as those closest to the horses are so often are on very good terms with Kevin.
As ever, Kevin’s team will analyse sophisticated timing data soon after the horses have breezed at the sales. This data is then cross referenced with Kevin’s own notes before the horses are assessed again for soundness and a final list of potential purchases formed. This in-depth, no-stone-left-unturned approach helps explain Kevin’s consistent success for us.
