Chaturanga bolts up!

22nd May 2023

There aren’t many two-year-old races won by more than seven lengths but Chaturanga did exactly that at Redcar today, bolting up to the delight of his owners.

The son of Invincible Army looked a picture in the paddock beforehand and even better in the race itself.

Travelling well from an early stage, Chaturanga went through the race like a talented colt and the response was impressive when Hollie Doyle asked him to pick up.

Finding generously for his rider’s urgings, the impressive two-year-old strode out with purpose in the final quarter mile, powering clear in the style of a very nice horse.

He is the latest quality youngster for us with Archie Watson and could have some interesting race options later this year, with an entry in the Goffs Million at the Curragh in September a particularly exciting engagement.

It’s rare to see a two-year-old win so easily but Chaturanga bolted up on this impressive debut and looks set to give his horse racing syndicate a year to remember after this success.

A lovely big, raw horse he is likely to be out and racing again in June, bidding to enhance his growing reputation.
