Country back to winning ways

31st July 2021

It was great to see Country Carnival bounce back to winning ways at Doncaster today for her horse racing syndicate.

The popular filly has been running herself into form and after an eye-catching run at Newcastle last week when doing well from a disadvantageous position, went a few places better this time to the delight of her owners.

A winning two-year-old with some very good back form to her name, Country was particularly well handled by Jason Watson who delivered her late to lead in the very last stride.

There was a nervous wait for everyone as the judge took his time to announce the result but to the delight of Country's owners it was their filly who had prevailed.

With Country bouncing back to winning ways here, she now looks primed to enjoy a strong second half to the season.

She’s been a busy girl of late and doubtless her in-form trainer David O’Meara will be busy working hard trying to find her further opportunities to exploit in the coming weeks.
