Musical Diva was an emphatic winner for her horse racing syndicate and trainer David O’Meara at Wolverhampton on Saturday night, coming home well clear of her rivals.
Her impressive success continues the fine run of our horses, this being our fourth winner of 2024 already.
Well placed after a good early break under David Probert, Musical Diva travelled notably well at the head of affairs through the first half of the race.
When David pressed the button entering the straight the response was pretty emphatic as the daughter of James Garfield strode home with over three lengths to spare of her rivals.
Jockey David was quite taken with the performance afterwards, telling her delighted horse racing syndicate that Musical Diva was well capable of backing this effort up and had been a very smooth ride on the night.
There were plenty of smiles in the winners enclosure as Diva was given a well deserved cheer coming in by her delighted owners before everyone assembled headed off for a galss of champagne with the Hambleton team at Wolverhampton racecourse.
The filly has proved a tough campaigner so far, this being her tenth start of her short career already whilst in the care of David O’Meara.
Reported to have come out of the race well by David O’Meara and his team, it’s highly likely we’ll be seeing this tough filly in action again soon as she bids to build on this impressive success and keep her owners active on the racecourse.
