Dramatic wins again

7th September 2019

It’s been a great year for Dramatic Sands and his horse racing syndicate and it got even better at Kempton this afternoon when their colt won his second race of the year.

The son of Footstepsinthesand has shown plenty of ability on all his starts to date, only finishing out of this first two once, behind this season’s leading two-year-old Pinatubo at Royal Ascot.

On this occasion Dramatic Sands, making his all-weather debut, was quickly into stride and led his field from an early stage.

Turning into the straight Dramatic started to increase the tempo and fought off his challengers one by one up the straight before battling on in determined fashion all the way to the line.

His success was another fine advert for Hollie Doyle who was riding Dramatic Sands for the second time, and therefore retaining her unbeaten record aboard him.

Her latest success now means Hollie has recorded four winners and two places for our owners from just seven rides.

Doubtless she’ll be keen to retain the ride on Dramatic Sands, who looks a real quality horse for his horse racing syndicate to enjoy going forward.

It will be fascinating to see what trainer Archie Watson has in mind for him next.
