Tropical Dreamer wins on debut

Dreamer wins on debut

The horses continue in fine form with our latest winner first time out two-year-old Tropical Dreamer at Beverley on Thursday.

The son of Bungle Inthejungle, a 25,000gns purchase as a yearling, was typically well prepared by Kevin Ryan and knew his job well as he stepped out in public for the first time.

Travelling notably well from an early stage, our second two-year-old runner of the year always looked the likely winner and duly settled the race without too much fuss when Tom Eaves asked him to go about his business.

Tom was quite taken with this performance and feels Tropical Dreamer is a young horse who’s going to give his owners lots of fun this year.

Tropical Dreamer’s winning debut was made all the sweeter for his horse racing syndicate as he qualified for the €10,000 Irish Incentive bonus on offer, boosting the winning pot for this race notably.

With our first two-year-old runner, Dapper Charm (14,000gns) finishing runner-up on debut the young horses have started off notably well. Their performances are a credit to our buying team who once again have secured some quality horses at great value prices for our owners.

When a two-year-old wins on debut its always nice to look ahead to what might be and Tropical Dreamer’s horse racing syndicate have more reason than most, with engagements in Newbury’s Super Sprint, the Ballyhane Sales race at Naas and Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar to consider for later in the year.

In the meantime, his owners can reflect on a great winning debut from their colt and enjoy watching his winning reply again as Kevin ponders his next move with this exciting colt.
