Ebor Countdown – Celebrity poised

With little over a fortnight to go the excitement is building for owners of Goffs Premier Sales recruit Celebrity Dancer, who holds an engagement at this month’s York Ebor meeting in the valuable Goffs UK Premier Yearling Stakes.

The son of Excelebration, a winner of two of this three starts to date, joined us for just £23,000 from last year’s Premier sale and is the latest in a long line of Donny graduates to flourish for our owners.

He made the perfect start winning at Pontefract in April before running with credit in a good race back there the following month.

The imposing sort’s latest run produced Celebrity’s best performance yet, when winning in really pleasing style at Ayr, an effort which booked his ticket for Ebor meeting.

With valuable prize money on offer for the first ten finishers at York and huge rewards for those in the placings the Ebor meeting promises to be Celebrity’s most exciting trip to the races yet.

It’s hard to believe, but the catalogue for this year’s Premier Sale is already published and being worked upon.  501 yearlings are currently catalogued to be sold just a week after the Ebor meeting at a sale that always produces stacks of quality horses.
