An exciting weekend ahead!

7th August 2020

An exciting weekend lies ahead for many of our owners with runners in action in Ireland, France and Ascot.

We'll also have runners at Thirsk and Haydock on what promises to be an exciting few days.

Recent winner Glen Shiel goes again in Ireland on Sunday, heading to the Curragh where he'll face last year's Group 1 Cheveley Park winner Millisle amongst other quality horses.

Glen is pictured above in the winners' enclosure after an impressive win at Newcastle last weekend and will be bidding to give his owners another exciting and rewarding afternoon.

Also in action on Sunday is another well-travelled horse, Maystar. The money-spinning son of Mayson is reunited with Hollie Doyle on the star-studded Deauville card in the six-furlong Listed event.

Elsewhere on Sunday team captain Watchable, the course record holder at Epsom over six furlongs following last year's Derby Day win, bids to add further gains to his burgeoning prize money total in the five-furlong sprint handicap at Thirsk.

We've plenty of excitement to come on Saturday too with multiple winner Dandy's Beano back from a short break at Haydock and last-time-out winner Wild Hope and Highland Dress both contesting quality handicaps at Ascot.

It promises to be an exciting weekend for everyone concerned with these fine horses and we look forward to seeing how the weekend team gets on.

Below are a few more pictures from Glen Shiel's latest win at Newcastle for Archie Watson and his horse racing syndicate.

Here's hoping the hugely popular son of Pivotal can represent his owners with distinction again at Group level on Sunday.
