Feel The Need has speed
18th July 2022
It looks like Feel The Need’s owners have a very nice horse on their hands as their two-year-old showed speed and a fine attitude enroute to recording his first win at Ayr today.
The colt by Ribchester, a personal recommend to us by trainer David O’Meara, looks another quality type for our owners with the O’Meara team.
He’d shaped with considerable promise on his racing debut and built on that in no uncertain terms for his horse racing syndicate, travelling well throughout under Danny Tudhope, who tracked the hot favourite for much of the race before quickening up in taking style to ultimately be firmly on top at the line.
From a quality Fittocks Stud family, Feel The Need saw off an expensive purchase in second and a hot favourite with some decent form in the book in third, marking himself down as a quality prospect in the process.
The laid-back two-year-old has shown a great attitude in everything he has done so far and has certainly impressed Danny Tudhope in his two starts to date.
Danny feels the son of Ribchester, a sire our team felt was slightly underrated at the sales within the past year, is a lovely prospect who’ll improve with both time and a little extra distance as he matures moving forwards.
It will be fascinating to see how Feel The Need progresses in the months ahead.
One thing is for sure, his horse racing syndicate looks to have a nice horse on their hands which is great to see.
