Going Places wins at Lingfield

Going Places looks well named!

12th March 2021

Our latest horse in training star purchase Going Places looks well named following on from another impressive win at Lingfield.

The son of Frankel joined us for just 20,000gns from horses in training sales last August and is proving another fantastic addition to the team.

Already a course and distance winner on his first start for his horse racing syndicate, Going Places jumped quickly here and was always travelling well under the excellent Hollie Doyle.

Asked to go and put his seal on the race turning in, Going Places found plenty and was always holding on in the closing stages for Hollie, who spoke about him very favourably after the race.

Already rated 95 by Timeform going into the race, the five-year-old is now our fourth 100+ horse from four such horse in training recruits with Archie, with all horses bought for 45,000gns or less.

Nobody has a better record than that when buying from the in-training sales but it’s always a thrill to source these talented horses for our owners.

Our attention is already focused on this month’s Tattersalls in-training sale where we hope to secure another talented individual for our next syndicate with Archie.

Going Places certainly looks well named now and with Archie feeling he may be suited by a stiff six furlongs he looks sure to take his owners to some nice tracks this summer.

It’s great to see the horses in such great form and we’re all looking forward to seeing where our latest aptly-named winner can take his owners.
