Heights Kevin’s latest winner

The Kevin Ryan horses continue in flying form with winners coming from all angles for our owners. Washington Heights was Kevin’s latest winner at Carlisle today, much to the delight of his horse racing syndicate.

The laid-back two-year-old had shaped with considerable promise when posting a lovely debut at Wetherby recently and took a nice step forward from that promising run when making most of the running under mainly hands and heels riding to score on his second start at the Cumbrian track.

A bargain buy at just £24,000 as a yearling, the two-year-old is yet another example of our buying team securing great value for our owners at the sales.

Kevin Ryan has always liked this young horse and feels he’s a horse with a nice bit of improvement to come which is great to hear.

Jockey Kevin Stott was very pleased with his latest winner in our silks after the race, saying how much he likes the youngster’s attitude.

Washington Heights is Kevin’s latest winner in a tremendous run of form this summer for our owners.

Of course, Kevin training winners for us is hardly anything new – he’s been doing it consistently for 17 years – but a run which has seen six individual winners from our last nine runners from Hambleton Lodge highlights the tremendous nick Kevin’s team are in at the moment.

It’s great to see the horses running so well and so many of our horse racing syndicates enjoying that winning feeling on the racecourse.

We look forward to seeing what Kevin has in mind for Washington Heights next as this promising two-year-old takes the next step in his promising career.
