Highland impressive at Newmarket
5th June 2020
The fast-improving Highland Dress was impressive at Newmarket on Friday, making short work of his rivals for the red-hot Archie Watson yard.
His latest win was his second success from three starts to date for his horse racing syndicate, after an earlier win in March.
The son of the outstanding Shamardal was always travelling well under a confident Adam McNamara and picked up in impressive fashion when asked to comfortably beat off the 90-rated runner-up, Beyond Equal.
Already a winner in the Hambleton silks this year, Highland Dress was taking his overall career statistics to three wins from six starts and is likely to be seen at Royal Ascot next.
The improving four-year-old is likely will be entered for the prestigious Wokingham Handicap and is highly likely to run at the Royal meeting if pleasing Archie between now and then.
We’d like to congratulate all Highland’s owners on his latest excellent performance. On this evidence, his horse racing syndicate have a lot more to look forward to this year after this impressive win at Newmarket.
