Magical scores at Beverley
25th September 2018
Magical Spirit made his third start a winning one at Beverley on Tuesday, racing prominently throughout before showing a willing attitude under pressure.
Our imposing chestnut two-year-old is quickly becoming a regular to Beverley race goers, having now raced here on all three of his starts to date.
Anyone who has followed his career to date will know Magical Spirit shaped with abundant promise last time out and he built on that good run in no uncertain terms on Tuesday.
Bounced out of the stalls well in the early stages by Kevin Stott, the son of Zebedee travelled with plenty of power through first half of the race before keeping on strongly in the closing stages.
Kevin Stott always looked to have his rivals covered in the final furlong and was firmly on top at the line to the delight of Magical Spirit’s owners.
This success was also notable as it means this is the eighth straight year Kevin Ryan has sourced us a winning two-year-old for the breeze-up sales - a quite fantastic record.
Pictured above, the tough and progressive horse is sure to stay further and Magical Spirit looks sure to go on and give his owners plenty more fun.
We’d like to take this chance to congratulate all connections on their well-deserved success.
