Magical’s impressive Ripon win

Magical Spirit looks a sprinter going places and gained the second success of his promising career at Ripon today.
A warm summer afternoon greeted Magical’s owners, who turned out to see their progressive son of Zebedee in action, and he didn’t disappoint.
Always handy under Andrew ‘Midge’ Mullen, Magical Spirit was soon travelling well under Midge who never needed to get too serious to come home clear of recent Leicester winner Queen Of Burgundy.
A winner last year at Beverley, Magical looks a versatile sprinter and a horse that can progress again and win more races for his owners.
The striking chestnut got a warm welcome back into the winners’ enclosure and looks sure to give his owners plenty more fun going forward.
