Savannah Moon presentation

Moons pictures in the sun

4th May 2018

She has taken a while to blossom but Savannah Moon is now firmly on an upward trajectory having won two of her last three starts.

The imposing daughter of Canford Cliffs is out of a Darshaan mare, so was always likely to stay well and relished every yard of Pontefract’s soft-ground ten furlongs when making a successful reappearance on Wednesday.

A filly that has progressed notably well physically since last year, she looked a picture at Pontefract and hit the line strongly as she ran down the favourite late on.

Her owners can expect better again from the progressive Breeze Up purchase, who is one of a super seven of breeze up purchases that have all won for their owners since purchased by Kevin and his team at the Breeze Ups.

We’re all looking forward to seeing how far Savannah can go this year with this latest win behind her. She’s like to be out soon aiming to build on her winning return to action.

In the meantime we can enjoy some of the pictures from Wednesday’s success.
