New recruit with Archie Watson

We’re delighted to confirm the arrival of our latest horse with Archie Watson, a stunning colt by Mayson.

2019 is our first year on the racecourse with Archie Watson and our runners got off to a fantastic start when Irish buy Dramatic Sands finished a hugely promising runner-up at Yarmouth yesterday.

Dramatic Sands, a €34,000 yearling, could have Royal Ascot on his agenda after splitting Boccaccio, 850,000gns son of Dubawi, and Al Namir, a Shamardal half-bother to two Group winners, on his racecourse debut.

We’re now very excited to have the chance to work with Archie with another impressive recruit he's hand-picked for us.

This colt was bought for a fraction more than Dramatic Sands was and has once again been bought on account of his outstanding physical appearance, and impressive breeze, rather than his pedigree.

As the videos on Archie's available horses page show, he has a very impressive way of going, both in his slower paces and also when using his powerful, long stride, which he was only just starting to do towards the end of his notable breeze.

Archie felt he looked smart in both his slower and faster paces and he looks a hugely exciting recruit to our small but select team with Archie.

We currently have just two shares left available in this impressive colt. We don't expect them to last long!
