Noble a smart breeze-up graduate

The great results keep coming with Noble Anthem the latest horse to impress, our latest smart breeze-up graduate to hit the track winning in great style tonight at Thirsk.

Noble Anthem, purchased from the Arqana breeze-ups last year, posted an impressive second start of his career, winning in really great style under Paul Mulrennan.

The son of Starspangledbanner, caught the attention of our buying team at the sales last year, appealing as a quality horse who’d develop into a smart three-year-old in time.

Archie has plotted a patient course with this quality individual and the results are there for all to see now.

Green and all the better for his debut run in the prestigious Wood Ditton at Newmarket’s Craven meeting, Noble Anthem left that form well behind at Thirsk, despite showing obvious signs that he was still green in the run.

Paul Mulrennan said Noble was still learning on the job, but that he had been confident from some way out that he would prevail. As his stamina came into play late in the race, Noble started to power clear close home, very much in the style of a horse with a lot more to offer, much to the delight of his horse racing syndicate.

Archie was absolutely delighted with this win and holds this quality colt in some regard.

With some well-regarded sorts filling the frame, the form looks strong, and Noble’s owners clearly have a quality horse to enjoy from here.

Noble Anthem is clearly a horse to keep on side and it will be fascinating to see how our latest smart breeze-up graduate can progress going forward.
