Noble delivers on handicap debut

5th July 2022

The Archie Watson team continue in good form and it was great to see Noble Anthem deliver in his handicap debut at Ayr on Sunday.

The son of Starspangledbanner boasts an impressive strike rate, having now won two of his four starts, both of which have come on the turf.

Having been upped in trip on his penultimate start, when finishing behind Queen’s Vase winner Eldar Eldarov, Noble Anthem was having a crack at 10 furlongs for the second time and showed a very honest attitude to his racing, when fending off the challenges of battle hardened handicappers.

Noble Anthem received a great reception from his owners, many of whom had made the long journey up to Ayr, as Paul explained just how their horse had bagged another win in such a game style.

Archie was delighted to see Noble Anthem back-up what he showed at Newcastle and Thirsk, and strike again for his horse racing syndicate and he is very hopeful that he can go and put together a good run of form going forwards for his owners.

A horse of considerable size and scope, he has been perfectly managed by the Archie and his team, and looks another of our horses set to give his owners some memorable days throughout the season ahead.

We look forward to seeing what comes next for our improving tank of a horse, as Archie plots his next move forward.
