Outbox looks another bargain buy
8th March 2021
Outbox looks another bargain buy for our owners after his easy win in tonight’s feature race at Wolverhampton.
The son of Frankel was bought for just 16,000gns from last October’s horses in training sales, and has quickly proved himself a talented horse in the care of Archie Watson, who has his string in typically good form at present.
Having failed to stay two miles last time Outbox was dropped back to twelve furlongs for his third start for his owners and was soon in front under Hollie Doyle.
Hollie looked comfortable throughout on the six-year-old and quickly settled the race when quickening the tempo from the front inside the final half mile.
Outbox was a comfortable one-and-three-quarter lengths clear at the line, ahead of an in-form runner-up, with the pair well clear of their other rivals.
Having raced just eight times when bought as a five-year-old, Outbox looks another bargain buy for our team after winning his third start in little over four months for his new owners.
It will be fascinating to see how he gets on for the rest of the year - the unexposed six-year-old boasts quality form and could hardly be in better hands.
Outbox is proving yet another fantastic recruit from the horses in training sales for us. His success means that all four of our recruits with Archie have been high quality winners for their owners.
With the next horses in training catalogue just published our attention is already focused on securing another quality horse for our owners.
