Outbox looks classy
28th March 2021
With the Flat season underway proper it was great to get an early winner on the board at Doncaster today.
Outbox looks classy after following up his Wolverhampton romp easily and is clearly another one of our bargain horses in training recruits.
It’s amazing to think the son of Frankel cost just 16,000gns last October at Tattersalls.
He’s certainly wasted little time in rewarding his horse racing syndicate, winning his last two starts in the style of smart horse.
Once again setting out to make the running, Outbox was always travelling well in the Class 2 12-furlong contest and soon settled the issue when Hollie Doyle asked him to pick up the pace inside the final half mile.
Hollie was able to take things easily in the closing stages with victory assured, meaning Outbox didn’t have a particularly hard race in pocketing the feature race at Doncaster’s curtain-raising meeting.
The success is yet another pointer towards the great results we enjoy from the horses in training sales, with Outbox following on the likes of Glen Shiel, Going Places and Highland Dress in winning quality races after being let go fairly cheaply by powerful connections.
It’s likely to be Listed and Group races on his agenda now and it will be fascinating to see where Outbox can take his horse racing syndicate in 2021.
Outbox certainly looks another classy horse for his owners to enjoy. We’re all really looking forward to seeing how he can progress in the big races he’ll clearly feature in this season.
Attention will also turn to Newmarket’s horses in training sales next week, as we bid to secure another bargain alongside Archie.
We currently have several places left in our next horses in training syndicate with Archie but it’s almost certain these will be snapped up straight after purchase by our existing owners.
Details of our plans for next week’s sale can be found via the link below.
