Esken Rose Ponte win enc owners

Perfect Start for Rose

17th September 2021

Esken Rose made the perfect start to her racing career when making a winning debut at Pontefract yesterday.

The impressive filly made every yard of the running under Tom Eaves, showing bright speed from the start to dominate her rivals throughout for her horse racing syndicate.

The winning filly was providing a first winner over here for her sire Hootenanny, who was a Royal Ascot-winning two-year-old himself.

The filly had impressed Kevin Ryan and his team at the breeze-ups in June and showed why on this occasion, showing bright speed throughout.

Not only did Esken Rose show plenty of speed but she also tried hard up the stiff Pontefract finish to repel the well-fancied favourite in clear-cut style.

This was a perfect start and with plenty of size about her this filly looks the type to go and improve with her racing into next year.

Esken Rose clearly has plenty of ability and after this perfect start looks another talented two-year-old for our owners to enjoy going forward.

Her next start is awaited with great interest.
