Premier double at Newcastle

The horses continue in brilliant form this year with a double on Newcastle’s Premier Raceday card, the latest nice results for our owners.

With such valuable prize money on offer for these Premier Raceday cards it makes sense to target them and to land two winners for our horses racing syndicate owners was particularly satisfying.

The first horse to put his owners in the winners enclosure was Natzor who stayed on strongly to win in pleasing style for his delighted owners in the ten-furlong handicap.

Danny Tudhope could be noted going well aboard the son of Almanzor some way out and always looked confident of success in the closing quarter mile.

A striking horse with real presence, Natzor has taken a while to gain his first success but was hardly winning out of turn having finished runner-up on his two starts to date this year.

Another most promising type is the striking three-year-old Chaturanga, who ran out a likeable winner of the three-year-old ten-furlong handicap under a typically excellent ride from Luke Morris, completing a Premier double at Newcastle.

Well placed under a tactically astute ride, Luke made his move at the perfect time before ensuring his mount did just what was required to prevail and land the valuable prize for his delighted owners, many of whom were on hand to enjoy the moment.

A reward for his rider’s intelligence in the finish should be just a minor rise in the weighs for Chaturanga and this striking son of Invincible Army looks just the sort to thrive this summer and win more nice races for his owners.

Both horses should pay to follow on their upcoming starts, and between them took our winner tally to 27 for the year.

You'd imagine these likeable boys will be adding further numbers to that tally in the months ahead and we look forward to seeing how they can progress for their owners from here.
