Remarkable’s Lincoln Entry

29th January 2019

David O’Meara has an excellent record in the Doncaster’s Lincoln handicap and the owners of Remarkable were handed some exciting news today when it was confirmed David has entered the son of Pivotal for the £100,000 handicap.

A £34,000 recruit from last October’s Horses In Training sales, Remarkable is a horse with an abundance of quality form, who has been training well since arriving with David.

David is training Remarkable, pictured above with his elder brother Watchable, with the feature race of the first weekend of the Flat turf season in mind where he will be bidding to improve his trainers impressive record in the race.

In the past four years David has saddled Horses In Training recruits to finish 2nd, 4th, 1st and 2nd in the Lincoln so Remarkable’s owners are justified in feeling excited about their horse being given such an illustrious entry.

Of course, the Lincoln weekend is already a favourite for many Hambleton owners, as we enjoy our Annual Owners’ Day at this meeting which is always a hugely popular day in the Hambleton social diary.

This year, the first few days of the new Flat season promise to be even more enjoyable for Remarkable's owners than usual.
