We turn our attention to Royal Ascot this week and are very excited to have Beamish back out in action for the Archie Watson team on Tuesday.

Beamish will be lining up in the Copper Horse Handicap (6:15) and is one of 16 runners in the race. He has been drawn in stall five with Luke Morris booked to take the reins this time of asking.

Although this will be a fiercely competitive race, Archie feels Beamish thoroughly deserves to be taking his chances in the hope that he can run with plenty of credit in the biggest week of the year in the Flat racing calendar.

As expected, it looks to be an ultra-competitive line up of horses with plenty of decent form amongst them including Alsakib.

He finished a respectable third in Group 3 company at Chester on his last start and with plenty of previous decent form behind him, including the Old Rowley Cup Handicap when running to a personal best RPR of 110, he is sure to be involved at the business end of things.

Fox Journey arrives here off the back of an impressive eleven length win at Newmarket last month when making his seasonal debut. With Ryan Moore booked to do the steering here on Tuesday, he certainly can’t be ruled out of contention.

Beamish is fresh and well ahead of this exciting outing to Royal Ascot and although he has plenty of challenging rivals to face, Archie is hopeful that he can run to a decent enough level on Tuesday.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of Beamish’s connections the very best of luck for Tuesday’s exciting race.
