Super Auction target for Maystar

3rd September 2019

Recent winner Maystar has now been confirmed by Archie Watson as on target for the Tattersalls Super Auction Sales Stakes at the Curragh later this month.

The two-year-old has been in fine form since arriving from the sales, providing his horse racing syndicate with some great excitement along the way.

An easy winning racecourse debut was the perfect start to his career, which Maystar has followed with a solid second and another win from his two subsequent starts.

These efforts mark Maystar down as a decent two-year-old and trainer Archie Watson feels the youngster is well worth his place in the sales race which is held at the Curragh on the 15th September.

With prize money totalling €250,000 The Super Auction Sales race is one of the most valuable European two-year-old races of the season and it promises to be very exciting for Maystar’s horse racing syndicate to have a runner in such a prestigious race.

This is what racehorse ownership is all about and it promises to be a weekend to remember in Ireland as Maystar and his owners head over for the Irish Sea for this big juvenile prize.
