Thank you for the thank yous!

One of the most rewarding parts of being involved with Hambleton Racing is helping people take their enjoyment of our fantastic sport to the next level.

There are so many aspects that go into owning a racehorse but one of them is undoubtedly friendship and we're very fortunate to have made some special friends over the years and witnessed many new friendships blossom as we share racing's roller coaster together.

In recent months we've been busy at the stables and with our annual owners' event at Doncaster and we've been overwhelmed and touched by the amount of owners who took the time to write to us to express their gratitude to say how much they had enjoyed the day.

We're very lucky to have such a fantastic group of owners and are now looking forward to another great year on the racecourse. In the meantime a selection of the messages received since Doncaster appears below.

Many thanks for organising such a great day on Sunday. The food and organisation was superb. "Tommo" was great fun, and somehow I found 3 winners. I am really getting to enjoy the company of some other owners and look forward to meeting up with them during the season. Back home after a great weekend with Hambleton Racing.

Kathryn and I enjoyed the hospitality immensely as always, we know that normally the charity’s that benefit from the events are usually in some way racing related. This year’s choice of Marie Curie was for us very appropriate having one member of the family recovering from cancer and another currently undergoing chemotherapy.

We do hope the fundraising exceeded expectations.

It was great to see you promoting Cartmel sticky toffee pudding - I must call in the shop today and ask for a discount – I’ll show them my Hambleton Brolly and badge!!!
