Watchable wins again

22nd November 2019

The legend that is Watchable gave his owners another treat yesterday as he made all the running to claim a fourth win of the year for his horse racing syndicate at Newcastle.

The spritely nine-year-old has been in great form this year with the pinnacle his record-breaking win at Epsom on Derby Day.

There was a slightly smaller crowd in attendance and the temperature was a little cooler but otherwise there was something familiar about the way the race developed at Newcastle with Watchable showing his customary bright early speed.

After settling into a nice rhythm, Shane Gray, riding Watchable for the first time, upped the ante from halfway catching out some of his better fancied, younger rivals.

Watchable was always holding on in the closing stages and got a suitably warm welcome into the chilly winners’ enclosure after his efforts.

We can confirm our team captain is in typically fine form this morning after his latest win. He’s a real credit to his owners, one of whom even confessed to shedding a tear after his latest success.

It’s great for his horse racing syndicate to be involved with such a tremendous horse. Watchable absolutely thrives on his racing, so it’s fairly safe to assume he’ll be out and racing again soon.
