Wild Hope

Wild Hope impressive at Carlisle

20th May 2019

Wild Hope was an impressive winner at Carlisle on Monday, coming home well clear under Kevin Stott to the delight of his owners.

The son of Kingman travelled well through the race and picked up in fine style when asked to go and win his race, eventually finishing comfortably ahead of his toiling rivals.

His owners, bathed in sunshine on a lovely afternoon, were delighted with Wild Hope’s efforts and gave him a warm reception as he was led back in to unsaddle.

This horse is tremendously well bred, being by a top sire out a fine, well-bred dam. Given his pedigree, he showed a little more than expected last year for a horse with his pedigree.

The three-year-old is really starting to get his act together now and looks an exciting horse for his owners to look forward to.

It was particularly fitting that Colleen was present at Carlisle today, as she was absolutely delighted to have selected Wild Hope’s name last year.

We’d like to take this chance to say a massive well done to Colleen for naming her first winner, and also to all Wild Hope’s owners on his first success.

We’ll have more news and pictures from Wild Hope’s win online in the coming days.
