Aerospace stays perfect

Aerospace has made an impressive start to his career with us so far and stayed perfect in the Hambleton silks when winning at Newcastle on Monday, building on his opening success in the beige and blue.

A horses in training recruit last October from Godolphin, the five-year-old already looks an exciting addition, and very much the type to give his new owners lots of fun this year.

Prior to catching the attention of our buying team, Aerospace had started a red-hot favourite for both of his races for the John and Thady Gosden team, running with notable promise in well contested races.

Aerospace is a big boy who has clearly taken time to come to himself, but he’s certainly made the perfect start to his time in the Hambleton silks, racing and winning twice to stay perfect and also match his total career runs before joining us in just a few months.

The son of Sea The Stars is extremely well bred, being by one of the world's best sires, out of Talent, a mare that won the Epsom Oaks. Furthermore, he’s also a half-brother to the three-time Group winner Ambition.

That pedigree, together with the abundant promise of his two previous starts led to us taking a chance on the five-year-old and so far he’s made the perfect start for his horse racing syndicate.

For his latest win, Aerospace was always well placed and picked up well for Hollie in the straight to just run down the front-running runner-up in pleasing fashion.

Hollie was very pleased when debriefing owners afterwards, saying their horse had stayed on strongly and could well do even better up further in trip.

2024 has been a fantastic year on the racecourse so far, and trainer Archie Watson is certainly a key part of that, masterminding a series of impressive training performances that have seen a large number of horses win, and look talented prospects in doing so.

Aerospace is the latest horse to fit the bill and as he stays perfect for his horse racing syndicate there is always the thoughts of what might be for this regally bred individual.
