Tom Clover

Racehorse Trainer

Tom Clover is one Newmarket’s leading trainers and trains from the historic Kremlin House Stables.

Perfectly located within Newmarket being equidistant from the famous Limekilns Gallops on the Bury Side of town and the vast expanse of gallops on the racecourse side, Kremlin House is a picturesque yard and beautiful place to train, with its own paddocks and indoor ride.

Working alongside Tom is his wife Jackie, daughter of legendry trainer Michael Jarvis, and a huge part of the yard’s success.

Michael Jarvis trained scores of big race winners from Kremlin House as Jackie witnessed first-hand all the ingredients that are required to sustain a first-class training operation.

Her father saddled the winners of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, 1,000 Guineas, Oaks and many Royal Ascot winners from Kremlin House and Tom is now writing his own chapter in the history of the famous yard.

Group 2 Royal Ascot winner Rogue Millennium, later runner-up in the Group 1 Matron Stakes at Leopardstown, was bought for just 30,000gns, highlighting the value Tom can secure for his Newmarket horse racing syndicates.

Tom saddled his first runner in the Epsom Derby in 2024, Tabletalk, another bargain at just 24,000gns. He finished 10th of the 16 runners before going on the win the prestigious Melrose Handicap at York’s Ebor festival.

Success at other major festival meetings like Glorious Goodwood and Newmarket’s July meeting highlight Tom’s capability to make his mark on the big stage while Tom has shone with his international runners too, 42,000gns breeze-up buy Rogue Lightning winning the Group 3 Dukhan Sprint in Qatar in 2025.

You can also follow Tom’s ongoing progress, runners, and owners’ experiences by reading the latest Tom Clover news, which shares regular updates from the yard and highlights recent successes on the racecourse.

Tom and Jackie provide a warm welcome to our owners and run an operation underpinned by some very impressive statistics.
