In just his second full year of training, Hambleton Racing trainer Archie Watson saddled over a hundred winners, won prestigious Group races at Royal Ascot and enjoyed several Listed winners, not to mention three Group 1 placed runners.
The huge training talent of Archie is now well established. Behind the outstanding results are hard-knocking, impressive facts. Since he began training Archie’s strike rate with his two-year-old runners is an incredible 22%.
That’s marginally better than Aidan O’Brien and notably better than established leading British trainers like Mark Johnston, Richard Fahey and Richard Hannon.
The statistics, produced off notably cheaper stock than the trainers mentioned, proves Archie is a young trainer destined for the top and we’re delighted to be able to offer Hambleton Racing’s owners the chance to own with Archie at his historic Saxon Gate base in Lambourn.
We had no doubt Archie would provide our owners with plenty of winners and fun and that’s very much been the case - our first group of two-year-olds trained at Saxon Gate contained quality winners who contested Listed races for some delighted owners.
Our older horse recruits have shone too with Archie proving adept at securing bargains on our behalf from the horses in training sale, securing effective highly rated winners for our owners for relatively modest sums.
Archie works closely with one of the best young bloodstock teams in the game. Together they have sourced countless winners for our south England horse racing syndicates, including Dramatic Sands and Maystar, the winner of the prestigious Al Rayyan Stakes in Doha.
Their methods and research have achieved breath-taking results. Whether from the yearling sales, breeze-ups or horse in training sales, Archie has secured countless quality horses without breaking the bank.
As you'd expect, our Archie Watson syndicates are hugely popular. If you'd like to join Lambourn's winning most trainer in a year you can view our current syndicate opportunities via the link below.
