Beaten just half a length on his previous start, Belsito was hardly winning out of turn and could be called the winner someway out on a track he adores.

Showing plenty of early boot during the early stages, the son of Aerion was soon in front rank travelling well and moved powerfully down the Hamilton hill.
Hitting the rising ground, Belsito found plenty and it was clear inside the final furlong that he and Tom had matters well in hand.
According to Timeform this was a clear career best effort from Belsito, and it will be interesting to see how this in-form sprinter can progress from here.
