Gale Force Ten colt

Kevin Ryan’s record with his two-year-olds is quite spectacular with Kevin saddling Group or Listed juvenile winners in eleven of the last twelve years, enjoying a huge amount of success, right up to the top level.

Many of Kevin’s Group race winners joined him from the yearling sales and Kevin has shown time and again an uncanny ability to produce decent horses from the yearling sales without breaking the bank.

We’re expecting this son of first season sire Gale Force Ten to uphold our fine record with first season sires – to date all seven horses we’ve purchased by first-season sires have gone on to win for their owners.

Gale Force Ten was a Group 1 winning two-year-old and a Royal Ascot winner as a three-year-old. From the outstanding Oasis Dream sire line, big things are expected of him at stud.

The colt really took Kevin’s eye at the sales and has done tremendously well physically since then, thriving during the winter months. Kevin thinks this lad has every chance of being an early season two-year-old runner and has been very impressed with his attitude to his work at home.

The fluent-moving colt is qualified for the plus10 bonus scheme and will be entered for the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury, a race in which we’ve secured some generous prize money before. Kevin will also be considering further sales race entries for this ready-made two-year-old.

Bearing in mind Kevin’s comments, and our perfect record with first-season sires, this colt looks highly likely to prove an exciting young horse for his owners to enjoy.
