Available Horses: Kevin Ryan
2018 Yearling Sales syndicate
Our next horse with Kevin will be purchased from the forthcoming yearling sales in Ireland.
Over the past 15 years Kevin has sourced any number of future winners for Hambleton Racing’s owners, securing some fine horses on a realistic budget.
The popularity of Kevin's yearling syndicates has grown and grown and in the last eight years it has been necessary to reserve a place in our yearling syndicate ahead of the sales, or already be an existing Hambleton owner, to get involved.
The quality Kevin can source for us is well established with the likes of the Listed placed duo Rural Celebration (£12,000) and Shoshoni Wind (£15,000), pictured above, typical of the quality individual that can be bought on a sensible budget.
Kevin has sourced us some real quality in recent years with Fast Act (£28,000), pictured right, running with great credit in a series of top two-year-old races, including when runner-up at Group 3 level at Glorious Goodwood.
Company Asset (£22,000) had been another success story, winning over £60,000 to date. Currently rated 103 by the Racing Post, she is a mare of real quality.
Kevin’s record of producing Group class two-year-olds is extraordinary, having trained at least one Listed or Group winning juvenile in nine of the last ten years.
Within that period Kevin has enjoyed success at Group 1 level, notably with French Derby and Irish Champion Stakes hero The Grey Gatsby, and at Royal Ascot with the likes of Bapak Chinta, Hototo, York Glory and Lightning Cloud, pictured below.
Emaraaty Ana provided Kevin with a remarkable fourth Group 2 Gimcrack win at York's Ebor meeting this year. Such results just enforce what has been clear for a long time - Kevin is well capable of achieving success on a realistic budget at the very highest level.
Kevin’s track record provides firm evidence that quality horses can be bought within our budget, something Rural Celebration (£12,000), Shoshoni Wind (£15,000), Royal Ascot winner Hototo (£22,000), big sales race winner Bogart (£30,000) and the Group 1 placed Indian Jade (£13,000) all confirm.
By purchasing young horses in this sort of bracket we offer owners a realistic chance of success with a two-year-old trained by a top trainer without breaking the bank.
Last year Kevin purchased Celebrity Dancer for our owners for £23,000. He's a highly regarded son of Excelebration who landed his owners a Plus10 Bonus when winning on debut and has since won again and now has a big sales race at Doncaster St. Leger meeting on his agenda.

Our last eight yearling syndicates with Kevin Ryan have not gone on open sale and it's almost certain this will be once again be the case, given the proven popularity of Kevin's yearling syndicate with our owners.
As per normal, if you would like to be a part of this exciting syndicate it is possible to reserve a place in the Yearling Sales syndicate.
