Spiorad looks one to follow

Saturday was a great day for Spiorad’s owners as their horse ran out an easy winner on his second start in the beige and blue.

Lining up in his first handicap at Redcar, Spiorad was always travelling well under David Nolan and only had to be kept up to his work to record a decisive success from a well-backed favourite.

The strapping four-year-old received a warm reception into the winners’ enclosure from his delighted owners, on a glorious afternoon at the seaside track.

A horse with size, substance and an excellent pedigree, he looks a horse to keep firmly on side for the rest of the year.
