Super Watchable wins again

9th February 2020

There can be few more reliable and likeable horses in training than our ultra-reliable Watchable, who scored his first success of 2020 and third win in recent months when winning for his horse racing syndicate at Wolverhampton last night.

The ten-year-old son of Pivotal was always travelling well in behind the front-running Acclaim The Nation and soon went past that rival when asked to go and win his race by Shane Gray.

The pair stuck on willingly to the line, as Shane maintained his fine association with Hambleton’s team captain, having now tasted success on three of the four occasions he has ridden him.

Watchable is a fine advert for David O’Meara’s skills at keeping horses happy in their training and was typically full of himself on a windy evening at Dunstall Park when coming into the winners’ enclosure to a warm reception.

The success was another first for Watchable – his first win at Wolverhampton. A five-time winner in 2019, Watchable has started this year in similar form and his owners can now look forward to enjoying their racehorse ownership all around the country again with their ever-green star.

Wherever the old boy heads for his next outing, he’ll be dangerous to underestimate.
